    My Uncles old Vette

1970 Stingray LT-1 350cid 370HP 4-speed Muncie. I remember when I was just wee little riding in this thing, such a blast.

Nah he sold it back a while ago, I was probably only 3 or so when he got rid of it. It was in good condition but he is glad he got rid of it because we see it at Starlite all of the time and it started chipping paint off and stuff, was still a nice car. Wasn't numbers matching but did have a 1970 LT-1 in it and the trans that was supposed to be in the car.

Haha I would hope this thing would walk my car, but he drove my car and told me he doesn't remember his vette running all too great. I still think his memory is fuzzy or something because a non-emissions 11:1 350 should put like 10 lengths on my car :-D

You got me wondering so I went in and grabbed a corvette book I have.
It lists performance numbers of all vetts up to 06. It shows a few different engine options. The Lt1 seems like it reved a little better than the others but the high Hp car was the 460 horse 454.

    The 454 car ran 13.8 @ 108 mph

    The 390hp non lt1 350 auto ran a 15.0 @ 93 mph

Haha I wonder what is up with these corvette books every one I look at is different.

The highest HP of 350 in 1970 was the LT-1 which made 370hp. There was a 300hp 350 and maybe others, and the highest HP big block was going to be the LS7 but they never put it in the car, so it was 390hp 454. In another book I have it said the LT-1 of 1970 ran a 14 flat in the quarter with a stick I guess. So hell who knows.

'63 is the one with the split window. I like the 68-73 the best I think followed closely by the 63-67.
