Tires are new but problem existed long before them, dating back to last summer actually. I know there are little things I can do to up the mileage and I would have done them if I had planned on keeping the truck. What jacks me off is the truck was bone stock and out of knowhere the mileage goes nuts!!!!!!! It wasn't great before but 8-9 city is BAD!!! I only get 6mpgs when I pull my 24' trailer!

Yeah I was talking to ya about this before the cold weather. Our 06 E250 5.4L does fine never did the calculations but its not horrible.

Here is an idea: 5.9L Cummins swap into the f250 haha.

I have an '03 F250 4X4 with 4:10's and the 5.4(just turned 29K miles) . My city mileage might be around 10 MPG, but I usually get around 15 on th ehighway when I have my 33's on. I did manage almost 18 last year when I went on vacation to South carolina. One thing that I do have that makes a big difference is a soft tanteau cover, I easilt gain 1-2 mpg's with it.
