PART1

Yup I'm back with the goods! The warm weather made for a rough hunting season in the NE and then I had to survive the holidays but inbetween everything else and working on my toys I was collecting movies, lots of them. The movies page will be broken apart soon, getting WAY too big to load anymore but there are now over 1100 movies to help fight the winter duldrums so have patience and let the thing load, you will be happy you waited. Go crazy, download, post links anywhere you please, tell your friends because there are fewer and fewer sites that let you download anything and everything without putting you thru a hassle or making you pay, but never at 04snake.com! Don't worry you Chebbie lovers, I will post another thread with 50-100 of the cool new non-Ford stuff. Below I collected just a few of the best new Ford movies links, but don't stop there follow anyone of the page section links at the bottom to hit the motherload of your liking.

You might have seen a couple, I get them in the some of the same forums I post in, but many are not available anywhere else to download!

Pour a cup of Joe or your favorite distilled beverage and experience a little of that "track" flavor that we all crave!

Becareful at work, everything is work safe (with volume under control) but can become addictive!

on and not cross the line so he could drive around Tim Lynch's 00 Stang when he broke!


The 4" cowl hood on this Stang looks bad! But 9.32 @ 143 IS bad to the bone!

9" Solid is in but it is still in a million pieces and a stack of boxes I got from Lou, but I am hopeful I will have my 10.0 Index racer at the track early this year.

Waiting on a few nitrous goodies like the Fire & Ice heater/fan system and some other odd N2O parts.

What 9" housing did you go with Stu?

The top of the line Moser case with the bolt thru race grade guts. Gun drilled 35 spline axles, trick lightened 3.50 race gear set, lightweight star flanges, Detroit locker and it was modified to accept a Ford Cobra caliper mounts and ABS exciter rings. I have pictures of it on my website and I think there are old threads here that show it. Frank took Lou's Torque boxes and did some more reinforcement when he welded them in, it ain't going anywhere! Not cheap but probably only a few pounds heavier than a beefed up 8.8!

The upper and lowers are UPR Cromoly single adjustables with 4 spherical and 4 bushing connections. I might replace the rubber bushings with CRC cut aluminum but I know the thing will be a real kidney buster on the street. I got Lakewood rear drag shocks from Lou for now but they are so cheap I can upgrade them if I can't get a hook, but I think they will probably be OK. This is my track car even though I will keep it registered for "Real Street" events and just so I can prowl out on the occasional "mission"! ;)

Figured you would of went with one of the geometry correct housings from DTS or one of the FAB9 Chassis Works Housings. I'm suprised you went to the 9" over the 8.8" considering that it would of survived just fine.

this case was purchased (not by me) prior to them being available.

the Math is simple 9" > 8.8" . This rear may outlive the Cobra and certainly will never have to have axle tubes straightened or nothing, yeah guys get them to survive, no doubt but I am glad I went they way I did, beside all that geometry business is irrelevant in a track vehicle that only has to go straight with additional anti-roll setups that will further restrict lateral movement.

will it ride as good, no. Does that matter to me, no.

if I can get 1.3x 60fts, with absolutely NO breakage, and the abilty to change out the gear set at home in 30 mins, mission accomplished!

you might get a kick out of this Lou. Eric approached me and wanted to buy the whole collection to start a movies service/section on modfords, I told him that I might be game but I wasn't interested in any money just that it wouldn't be used on a pay site, an over commercialized (pops and adds in your face) site or a site where street racing is also allowed like Streetfire, well he never got back to me after that.

Funny, I thought he would have been able to give me those assurances but maybe the purpose of modfords is going to be changing soon :( I hope not.

If I do charge him I'll donate it all to Lou to keep this site up, I'm not interested in paying any more taxes than I already do. What I do for a living means I can't mess around with anything under the table but if I donate it and can prove it I'm OK.
