HID Headlight Conversion vs. Silverstar Headlights

Anyone got any pics? I plan on doing 12000k fogs with 10000k headlights.

I had Silverstars for a while and they were alright then I put HID healights and fogs in and they are great. I've had them for 2 years and I love them.

For what its worth anything over 6000k is pretty much worthless as far as light output goes unless you just want purple lights.

OH I would have to agree big time... Higher the K's doesn't get brighter, if that's why your doing it.. Just a color change, purple is what them are going to be.

yes that's a leaf in the top of my fog light, I guess I didn't look close enough when I was cleaning it last

yup, 5k top and bottom. Got the hi/lo beams for the headlights too (didn't wanna regret not having them)

nice nice...i have factory low beams on the truck...but i did get the 6k fog lights already, once i get the truck together and mobile for a bit I'll be getting the high beams as well..i figured hell with low beams & fog lights i might not ever need to use my high beams again..

I know that, I love the way 10000k looks, and the purple fogs would look pretty decent at night with the color of my car imo

tried to get it to come out true to color, but it just wouldn't.



5000k is pretty much pure white with just the right hint of blue for me. They make the factory fog lights look like they are just candles behind glass.
