Arrow Tasca Super Street Boss 429

Any of the OLD guy's remember this car? I watched this car make a 10.90 pass with street tires and through the mufflers in 1970! And they put up 5000 Bux if any street car could beat it..
    None did...

thats a newer version of that race teams cars. They had cars going back to the early60's. They had a 66 Fastback that tore the hell out of the other cars at the time. Man am i getting old!!!!!!!!

Bob Tasca was always looking to stuff a big powerplant in anything ! Tasca Ford fielded a '63 Fairlane with a 406, and then the 427, before Ford decided to build the '64 Fairlane "Thunderbolt"... a real badass car as well. With Bill Lawton driving, and John Healey wrenching, the Tasca cars were always a force !! Their '65 and '66 AFX Fastback Mustangs with 427 SOHC power were mean. The 427 SOHC, with only fuel injection, was more powerful than most of the Chrysler Hemis with blowers !
I heard they opened the dealership again, too !
