    Mac Performance Exhaust

I have a 2003 v6 mustang and am looking into a dual exhaust. Two choices I have found are the Magnaflow full cat-back system and the Mac Performance cat-back system. What are the differences? Is is worth paying the extra $200 for the Magnaflow?
    Mac Performance $330

    Magnaflow $525

The main difference is that the Magnaflow is all stainless and the mac is not which means it could rust. If the car is going to see a lot of winter then I would go with the Magnaflows but if its not a big deal just go with the macs. Also the Macs are chambered so they won't be as raspy as the Magnaflows. Its all preference.

Do not go with magnaflow unless u want your sixer to sound like a honduh. U want a cambered muffler like Mac or flowmaster. Flowmaster gives the v6 the best sound trust me

your best bet is to get a xpipe with high flow cats and then you can pick any gt exhaust system. when you put that xpipe on it allows you to use any exhaust for your year. with the cats it wont sound raspy and it will be loud. with the mufflers like magnaflow it will sound raspy. do yourself a favor and go with a cambered muffler

All of the good sounding V6's I have ever heard have Flows or Mac so I am willing to bet that the posters above me are giving great advice.

not at all it sounded awesome I was very convinced it was a v8....only thing that gave it away were the badges....and the only thing that kept me from trying to race was this funny little whistling sound coming from under the hood.
