    Steelers make NFL history.
what?? aren't we #1 or #2 in the league this year against the pass?

If we slow down Fitz we should be fine. The Cardinals D is suspect at best. If we don't turn the ball over we will win easily. I expect Ben to have a great game if Hines is able to play. If Hines can't go, I still think we'll be able to run against the Cards. I will choose LeBeau over coach Wiz any day.

Steelers might give up a long one to start, AZ has the talent to do that. The D has always made the proper adjustments this year to respond, allowing the offense to get their chances. I see this game going similar to the Chargers playoff game. Steelers get #6, 31-24.

WTF, everybody's hung up on this underdog BS while every guy I've seen on tv is saying the birds are going to win. That Underdog stuff is just to get the cards pumped. Then if they win it's like nobody thought they could do it, Lol.

Hines is MONEY!! I think he deserves to make the HOF when he's thru. A second Super Bowl MVP would pretty much guarantee that! He has great receiving skills and instincts, amazing hands, and is by FAR the most FEARED blocking receiver in NFL history! Hell...any offensive player who makes the Renegade highlight film at Heinz Field for a legal BLOCK must be doing something right!!

Oh man...just came across this one and couldn't resist it...

Im about ready to load my shotgun and blow a hole through my ****in tv if I keep hearing about how great the cardinals are!!

I was watching the NFL network earlier this week and they were all over the steelers nuts. Now, the cardinals are the best thing ever.

I changed over to espn, and thats all I keep hearing is how fitzgerald cannot be defended and boldin is awesome along with breaston. Now I want the steelers to demolish this team. I hope they can pull this out!!!!!!!

27-17 Steelers. I see a close game with Steelers scoring a late TD to pull away.

I hear ya John. I agree. The Cards put up a 9-7 record, have Jake Delhomme lay a monster egg against them, and luck out to have Philly beat the Giants ( if the Giants win, there's no way the Cards win in the Meadowlands ), and all of a sudden they're world-beaters.

The Steelers have been solid all year. Their only 4 losses came against playoff teams. We have the #1 defense in the league, including the #1 defense against the pass. But all the networks want to talk about is how great the Arizona passing game is.

Granted - Arizona is playing well. Actually, they're playing out of their asses the last 2 games. Well guess what - the Steelers have played solid all year. And we will continue to, as Tomlin says, "do what we do" in today's game.

The Arizona D is not up to the task. And the Arizona offense will not be able to move the ball consistently against our defense. Coach Wiz has been gone for 2 years. Things have changed. Russ Grimm has been gone for 2 years. Our whole O-line has changed and we play with a different style than we did then. All the "experience" Wiz and Grimm had with our team doesn't mean squat.

I think the Cards' D will try to guess and jump routes and gaps, hoping to come up big. And Ben and our offense will burn them again and again.

    LET'S GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard that the last 4 times the #1 defense played in the SB, that team won. Not sure about prior to that.

    In before the coin toss...

OK, here it is. During the first three quarters of play, the Cardinals will go up 21-7. Sometime in the fourth quarter, our defense will make a hella play and come up with a touchdown, then the defense will hold and the offense will come up with another touchdown. 21-21... then the defense will hold AGAIN. Steelers get the ball back with 1:30 on the clock, drive into field goal territory and Jeff Reed makes it 24-21 with :02 on the clock. Cardinals muff the ensuing kick-off.

    Steelers win.
