W.O.W. Car show

I didn't take any pics, alot of the same cars from last year or cars you see at local shows.

I took some pics that I'll try to post up tomorrow. Overall it sucked and I doubt I will go back any time soon.

I heard the same thing thing Ed. thats one of the reasons I did not go. Heard they had a pretty neat old school black primer hot rod. Other than that rumors were it sucked.

That is what I thought a few years ago. I havent been back. I was going to put my 64 in there last year but didnt want to deal with the goofy croud.

I hear that. Buddy of mine placed his car in the show (Blue 240sx). He wasn't able to come down to the show on friday. So i went down made sure everything was good and setup. As im minding my own business I catch these guys infront of me staring at me like i just killed a cat. So they come over and proceed to tell me to move the car. After explaining to them it isnt mine and the owner would not be here till atleast 5-6 they throw a fit on me. I proceed to tell them, why dont you talk to someone that actually runs the show before you flip out on someone. The two then walk away and get someone that comes back and starts looking at me like a p.o.s. He asks where the owners at, whens he gonna be here etc. Then just tells the guy to move his car forward and everythings fine. After handling this situation acting calm and trying to help out everyone, both parties just leave. Not saying thanks or hope there wasnt a problem. Nothing.

Afterwards, at the awards ceremony. The guy that runs WOW, asks everyone there how to get people to come to the show. And or enter there cars. Its was just a big mess and the shows going down the tubes real bad.

A buddy of mine has been a vendor there for the past 16 years. This past year they would not let him setup in his usual spot and wanted to stick him in a corner, so he told them to stick it and didn't participate in the show.

I dont know what your defination of a ricer is. But alot of the younger crowd that goes to this show look for import/tuner cars. I mean the generation is changing, and the show isnt.
