    Fast Idle

    Hi guys got a question about my 98 Mustang I just purchased when you start the car and run it for a while the idle won't go below 1500 RPM'S what should I look at first. also it does have a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger on it

    Idle air control? Maybe its tuned to idle that high?

    Tear the idle air control appart and clean it thoroughly with throttle body cleaner. Might as well clean the MAF while you are there. After that, adjust the TPS to specification.

    Where is the IAC Located and I don't think I have a MAf because of having the supercharger

    The maf is in there somewhere between the outlet of the blower and the throttle body. It might be hidden in your fenderwell.

    good ideas. and yes you DO have a MAF. like John said prob fender well with your piping to intake. You have to have a MAF to keep your system control running right.

    I had it just checked out by my house ending up being the RPM guage is off by 900 RPM's
