Yea it's took me long enough.. Insurance will be too high for a C5 Corvette so I'm still a Mustang guy for now which is fine by me.

Other than the motor, theres only two other parts i need to buy for the exterior of the car and then its done.

Sounds cool. I don't follow the MOD motor stuff close enough, but are the ported non PI heads to keep the compression down? I seem to remeber that the PI stuff bumps the compression???

They say the 96-98 cars end up having more comp. than the 99-04's after the pi swap.

My supercharger intake, AFAIK, only works with NPI heads. I believe with this intake on PI heads, I may have an issue with coolant pouring into cylinder 5's intake, which is no good. This is just based off what I could research online.

However, I went with the -18cc dished pistons for in case i eventually get PI heads, and a more efficient supercharger kit, then the compression will still be in the area of 9:1 after the PI swap.

So basically, I'm designing this motor with the future in mind and to handle the power it makes now with ease.

I was told 487 rwhp when i bought it. Without dyno results to prove that, and a best trap of 109 it's more around dennis's guess of 340-350 rwhp. After this motor swap, it should be able to put out 400+- rwhp, and handle much much more.

But that's the next problem, how much can a stock T-45 Transmission take!?

my t-45 was holding up alright with 425 ft lbs of tq but my clutch was shot, do u still have the stock clutch? but anyway i went with Bob Hanlons upgraded t-45 this year with the 26 spline input, upgraded forks, and synchros and basically a rebuild kit, so im hoping it holds up, but we'll see

Sounds like a nice build but why only 10lbs of boost? Is that what your supercharger is limited too?

I think it makes 9-10 psi. It comes with a 6lb pulley, but the gains are only 50-80hp that way. Also I've had a couple people tell me that that pulley may be over spinning the supercharger, like putting out more heat with more boost which could hurt the power output. I don't think this is that big an issue. Because of the design I cannot intercool it so I do have a Snow Performance Methanol Kit on the car to help with the heat.

Besides, what I've got to work with is what came on the car when I bought it. When the time comes, I'll move to PI heads and a Saleen or KB Supercharger.

Because I should of had this engine by now, the builder's throwing in an 8-bolt cobra crank, new aluminum flywheel and a Teksid block.
