2000 Gt

A friend of mine's 00 GT blew up. From what he was telling me, it sounds like he shot a rod through the block. I was asking you guys what you think his best route is. I don't know where to find a cheap new shortblock. I could buy his PI heads and intake off of him and he could try to find a whole new engine. I don't really know what to tell him, but what do you guys think would be his cheapest route? He doesn't need a DSS Short block, he just wants to get his car up and running. Thanks guys.

I've done plenty of research on 4.6 motors, considering I was in his same shoes. You can find new replacements with PI heads for about $2800-$3200.

Have him give me a call at the shop Mike, there are quite a few different ways to go but input is needed. How ya been?

I have been doing alright. Trying to find me a cheap 4cyl truck to DD in this shitty weather. So if I find one I like I will be sending my ride to ya for some 4.10s and a t-lok rebuild. I told him to atleast drop you a message but he doesn't get on here too much I will give him your business card tomorrow and he can go from there. I may have found him an engine for cheap but I want to make it sure it is legit before he shells out the money.
