    head gasket blown!

i think its shot! im angry haha! trying to stay clean here. well i figured i havent ran my car too much so i fiugred i check the plugs since last summer. they look terrible....i think. i dont know what this wear is on them but them me know what you guys think?

ok also i have coolant leaking like no other. i start my car from time to time so i know its new coolant. It wasnt there before i put it away in november.... i think its coming from the head. water pump t-stat housing hoses are all dry. the thing is the coolant dosent look to crappy and neither does the oil..... atleast it not too bad. it looks a little watery(not as thick as it should.) let me get your guys input.

only the front of the motor is wet. there are no oil leaks the manifold gaskets were just change and do not seem to be wet

all these pics are crappy since i dont have a camera and i have to use my phone....

only the front of the pan is wet....

side shot.. the block look a little wet no too bad but the pan is soaked..

this pic is from up top.. kinda hard to see but the brown in the bottom is where the head meets the block..

water pump and crank pully are dry...

whoa buddy when did this happen??

take off your upper intake manifold and air intake piping...it'll be much easier to poke around in the back of the engine....

also just take off your belt and some accessories you'll be able to see more near the head and block. just unbolt them and move them aside you dont have to take them all the way out

i can see almost everything with no problem. i moved the coil pack etc out of the way. i dont wanna mess with the upper intake untill im 100% sure. just got everything resealed. seems to be in the front.....

no brian..the upper intake....it isnt sealed like the lower. its just a gasket. it takes 5 minutes to take off

but if you think its comming from the front you are prob gonna have to unbolt accessories

yeah it looks like that could be the problem from your pics....its all over the front of the engine.

why dont you drain the coolant and start rippin some accessories off ill give ya a hand this weekend...its easy to replace the timing cover and water pump gaskets just a bit of a pain since you have to dig so deep into the engine

you will never find out what it is until you start diggin in! so don't delay the inevitable!!

HA! listen to you....your first big problem with it and you are mad.

This isnt a big deal man, especially if its a head gasket....stock head gaskets + supercharged is not good. your lucky youve been problem free for this long!

haha im always mad... remember the 43 run and the coolant hose blew!! that sucked.. remember the intake hose blowing off every 2 mins.... that was a fun ride home haha! ive had plenty of electrical problems tons of leaks haha tranny rear ends etc...

the 94-95 v6 head gaskets suck bad they always blow. 97-98 are iffy and the 99-04= pure sex! everyone upgrades to those. althought the 97-98 are very similar to the 99+

ya cars are frustrating for sure. when did you have electrical problems?

tons of leaks are a given with any ford...completely unavoidable with any model ford that has ever existed lol

Yeah, head gasket is no big deal if thats the problem. Blown guys change them all the time. Just cant let stuff like that get you all worked up. I used to and it didnt get me anywhere. Not like you have to drive it every day so youve got time to fix it.

ya man ill help ya....plus once you start rippin it apart, you may find that its not that, maybe it is your head gasket.

when you start taking out bolts, put them in zip lock bags and label them, dont just throw them all somewhere, youll get all sorts of mixed up....ford likes to make every bolt different! haha. that is probably what the most time consuming part of my rebuild was...i had to run to the hardware store every day in the summer lol

Problem free and car dont belong in the same sentence. Mods like superchargers only increase the chance that your gonna have problems. Just gotta work through them. Like already said. Its only Feb.

Least both your cars have motors in them

ok thanks! ill prob start ripping it apart thursday since im off. i found that the plugs are like that from running rich and is normal wear on the plugs since its a cold plug. atleast thats what the v6 guys said. imma do a compression test thursday and and put new tr6 plugs int gapped at .030-.035. so hopefully it not the head gasket
