You are bidding on the "AMOUNT OVER MSRP" for a 2007 Shelby GT.

These peeps are nuts. The sticker is already $39,725 which IMO is already too much for a mustang Gt with 325hp, i/e and some suspension bits.

Then, the bidding is up to $25,100 OVER MSRP!!! WTF?

At least Shelby donates his money to Charities. The dealers on the other hand are just greedy f$ckers! I hope all their delaership burn to the ground!

    within 5 years, Ed

I predict the dealers as we know them will be all gone. You'll either order your car online and a transporter will bring it straight to your house from the factory or you'll go to a "retail" store where an 18-year-old, hourly worker will help you log onto an "in-house" computer to fill out the paperwork after you've picked one off the lot yourself.

The car manufacturers are starting to figure out they don't need to give dealers/salesmen 30% of the profit to sell the cars for them.

It'll be just like your Whirlpool refrigerator. You'll call a 1-800 number and Chevy or Ford will tell you where their nearest service center is and you'll have to call them and make an appointment.

I don't care what kind of car it is I would never pay 1 cent over sticker. They are probably the ones that are bidding .

What the hell is wrong with people. As longs as suckers keep lining up to pay out the a$$ for any Mustang with the Shelby name attached to it dealers will keep the rapeing going. Insanity.

Apparently somebody made a mistake and caught it, because the bid was actually $25,100 when I posted this. I see it ended at $2,025.

    Still crazy, IMO. :o
