A dragstrip in salem ohio
For those that do not know what Quaker City Raceway is, its a 1/4 mile drag strip. It's a much nicer track than PRP and the staff there actually know how to run an effecient program.
There's no gravel, no super high refreshment prices, and it's just a much nicer place to race and spend the day.
^^^Yeah Quaker is a great place and the people are great. I don't know if i'll be there opening day or not but i do plan on going a couple of times this year. Its only a 45 min. drive from my house.

I am planning to run both of the UMTR races at Quaker City this year. The first is mid May, so that's likely the first chance I will have to get over there.
I've ran my best times there. My best mph at PRP was 125 mph and my best at QCR is 127.95 mph.
I use yo think the same thing, that QCR was 2 tenths slower but it's not. I think it's faster than PRP.
Hell, I cannot spin my tires to save my life at QCR, as I launch it off of the 2-step @ 6K with 12lbs. of boost and it takes off like a rocket, with no spin.
PRP on the other hand is like an ice skating rink.........
Same here bud, My fastest times have always come at QCR.

Thats the way prp seems to me. Pretty inconsistant. Qc and prp are about the same distance from me so I was planning on making it out there this season.
I'm glad QCR is hanging in there too. Once tracks close, they're usually done for. I've had some fun times out there, good memories.
In my experience, I'm about a tenth, a little over, slower there compared to PRP.
Yeah im about a tenth slower and 1 mph slower at QCR too. The track goes slightly up hill. If you talk to anyone who runs their car enough and the car is consistent they will tell you the same, even the regulars at QCR will tell you. Its a very nice track though overall.
Would also like to go and check it out this year, pretty close to me.

Even PRP is a little drive, I'll venture out n about here and there, but I'm mostly down for keepin our Great city of Pittsburgh's one open!
