i'm interested. what type of parts and labor? . i race vet B class, +25 class, i may do some 250b and fourstroke classes this year too. i have been a 2 stroke diehard but i finally sold my 07 rm 265 and picked up a 08 kx450f.

I would like to start doing some races/practices, but i don't have time to make it an every weekend thing like Don (chevydad)! Definitely go with him if you wanna get ur name out there! He's very good!!

I've been riding a very long time (trail riding only), and have full confidence that I'll do fine - i just wanna follow Don around the track and get an idea for how fast i need to go to do certain jumps... my biggest fear isn't coming up too short, its overshooting a landing and getting myself into trouble...

However, when i do go to the track with Don, i'd be willing to allow some advertisement, as long as it doesn't look hideous - lol.... However, i'd consider going to the track more often if I had someone such as yourself to do valve shimming, fork seals, etc.... that's the reason i would try to hold back going all the time - the maintenance costs of track riding all the time..... plus, the fact that building a house this summer is probably going to really kill my weekends..... this may not be the year to get into it, but i'm still going to go when i have the opportunity

How much experience do you have with the modern 4stroke Mx-ers?

Ive rebuilt a handfull of'em on bikes but its same engine basically as a 4stroke sport quad. As long as you have a complete shim kit.. your golden. as far as decaling its just be front fender decals along the sides

Well, i don't have a shim kit, but i'm sure i'll have to get there... I'm in the same boat as Don.... had 2strokes my whole life - also had a RM265, and about 2 months ago bought a CRF450R

My bro used to ride at tracks a bit a year or two ago and thought about racin. We know a couple others who actually travel to race alot too. I'll keep u in mind.
My bro ran the crap outta his 03' KX, he got all the parts to fix it up. Just hasn't had the time to get it all put back together. He said this year but also said that last year.
Unfortunately our bands been consumin alot of time and money, lol! Hopefully here soon we'd luv to put alot more time and loot into my Stang and his bike!

i dont officailly race but i ride local trrails and tracks as well as some distant places like breezewood and florida. i ride a c class 06 kx450F with a few mods. but i dont know if i can help ya out?
