Yea, i didnt mean for it to come off like that..

I like my car a lot, can take a cruise for as long as I want as I do not have any question of it's reliability at all even with lots of power.

Fact of the matter is that if I did not have a huge house payment I would have a new ZR1! hehe..

Now can we try to get along a little bit better guys? I think we all are getting cabin fever!
Yea i think thats prob it. lol... If you drove it noone would have a reason to talk about it then cause 99% of the time its cause you dont drive it, it gets brought into a convo. lol

oh boy, i better not get into this one.....

i have some good comments, but i'll hold my tongue

nice car, but i'm personally a little dissapointed with that - not with the car, but that example.... full exhaust, 18psi, cam, etc in a 6.2L motor and only 705rwhp.... I had that much power on WAY less boost, heads that don't flow as well, as conservative of a tune as you can possibly have, and less cubes.... it confuses me a bit....

either way, when it comes to a factory production vehicle, the ZR1 is the cheapest car among its competitors.... and i'd personally rather have that car, in blue or black, than any other car (with exception of a Carerra GT)

Supersnake / ZR1 = suppliment for little penis
Neither will rarely be used for what they were intended for. Im far more impressed with a car that someone has done themselves, thats half the fun.

As for your old car. turbo vs sc you know who wins that battle, even with more cubes + boost from the vette.

You could make just about any vehicle run better with the money. Lets face it, 95% of guys with these Zr1's are going to be the ones who you pull up next to and they act like you're not there. It's a status symbol and they could care less if they spend an afternoon on a couple bolt ons to gain 10 or 20 rwhp. Not like us.

I think those cars are unreal. If I was in the market for a kick ass car for 60-70k I would buy a Z06. If I had 114k I would buy the Zr1. Power to weight ratio vs any s197 the vette wins hands down.

If Frank sees this he'll get all pissed lol.

    I <3 z06's, and ZR1's.

Would I trade my car on the spot for either one?

    of course.

    Oh, viper's too.

Im a ford guy and always, always will be, but you cannot argue with that car....it outperforms in every category, not saying that I like that fact, but fact is fact. lol.

thats a good point...sad one too. Those cars have so much potential but very few will ever get to show it.

I think cabin fever is turning our brains to mush lol The ZR1 is no doubt a sharp car with alot of good attributes (power to weight, etc.) Im disappointed in the power it made though for what it is....Its been proven that that kind of power is easily attainable from 03-04 cobras, GT500's, and GT supercars. If I had that kind of cash (millions +) to throw around I would buy a z06 and a GT 500, mod the hell out of both of em and have a blast lol ( I think I would purposely make the 500 jus a tad faster though ;) ) lol
    made some noise....and some boost...and 377/442 rwhp/rwtq

I was going to respond to this post, but i think the below posts are all that needs to be said!

and the ford GT still has an MSRP of $140K

I know its just an opinion, and i respect that you guys think that, but i really don't see why peopel think the Ford GT is good looking... i mean, yea its performance is world-class, but its butt-ass ugly.... I'd own a new GT-R before I owned a ford GT, but we better not bring imports into this thread

For the amount of money they put into that car to get those results the should be embarreassed. Pully tune Ford GT at 15 psi will put down over 650. That things at 18psi and the blower is maxed out making 705?????? Still a doubter here i guess.

PS. I think the ZR1 is an amazing car but i think everyone blows it way out of porportion. (sort of like the GTR) Scott your still right about the race truck tho haha
