I haven't kept up with these systems lately, but that's the first one I've seen make the power that was claimed. Nice to see one finished and working well. GL to him selling, looks like a nice car. 1100 hp on nittos, sounds like a fun time.

Who said the car wasn't awsome besides 2001GTTT? (I think he was being sarcastic. BTW He likes ham sandwiches.) The car is freak'n crazy if you ask me. The video I posted was a let down because they never got on it that hard.

The think the price is a bit crazy but thats just my opinion.

I'm going to go with a gen II whipple 2.3 this spring.... maybe.. some interesting things might be in the works for me.

Nate was looking to buy the whipple 3.4, but I don't see the point on pump gas (and you'd need a new hood). I did look into a single turbo set up, but its just not worth dumping that kinda money into the car. Plus it takes away the essence of the positive displacement blower that the car came with. Maybe thats just me though lol

Not 100% true. I have read and seen pics of people running engine mounts that drop the engine enough to clear the factory hood. I also see more and more people maxing out the 2.3 so depending on how far you want to go it might not meet your goals. (A few things have changed in 2 years) Keep in mind you might be able to run 25psi but they are starting to run hot at those temps and need mixed gas. With the new mammoth and crusher intakes the best street setup seems to be the bigger supercharges being under spun. 650+rwhp on 93 all day long with a stock engine. I would pay an extra $2k to beable to fillup at the pump. Then when you can afford to get a built engine and mixed gas just put a smaller upper on. I think the old thinking of "dont get the big supercharger for pump/street" is over.

You mean I spelled it right? j/k I have been reading and honestly I am more confused about what I want to do than before I started looking into all of this. I guess I just need to talk to people and with any luck get to ride in cars with different setups before pulling the trigger.
