    NMRA Bradenton = ZOO

Looks like a nice car count for to lone race in the south to start season. God I wish I was there. Least there is a live video feed to watch off NMRA site.

Pro Outlaw 10.5 - 7 cars. Mike Murillo Low ET 6.857, Top Speed 224.04
Super Street Outlaw - 6 cars. John Urist Low ET7.427, Top Speed 193.79
EFI Renegade - 8 cars. Dan Rawls Low ET 8.405, Top Speed 163.22
Hot Street - 5 cars. Rob Blankenship Low ET 8.634, Top Speed 155.60
Drag Radial - 11 cars. Jason Lee Low ET 8.001, Sean Lyon Top Speed 181.26
Real Street - 7 cars. Jim Breese Low ET 9.625, Dave Gittner Top Speed 143.26
Pure Street - 10 cars. Mark Anderson Low ET 10.237, Steve Gifford Top Speed 132.58
Factory Stock - 8 cars. Carlos Sabrino Low ET 11.488, Jay Dold Top Speed 119.26
Modulasr Muscle - 18 cars. Nelson Whitlock Top Speed 158.22 (Low ET's based off RT not ET for qualifying)
Open Comp - 25 cars. Steven Wieczorek Top Speed 141.15 (Low ET's based off RT not ET for qualifying)
Trucks - 22 trucks. MJ Ranchero Top Speed 134.20 (Low ET's based off RT not ET for qualifying)

Quick 16 Winner Chris Escobar with a 9.135 avg.

Then there is the monster of a class TrueStreet with 105 cars. This class ran for a long long time.

Looks like 2 cars ate both walls in Pro Outlaw and were done for weekend.

Why so little of cars participating in each class, under a dozon on most of'em? And then there's true street with a hundred plus. Huh

That's fairly normal for that event. Most times many cars are not ready and end up showing by second or third race or series. Plus with economy your not going to get alot of long distance towing. Especially when rest of races are up north. Open Comp was suprisingly lite on cars. Mod Muscle floats around 20-40 normally.

True Street is a 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 second class. They run three rounds and those times are averaged out. The lowest avg ET per division wins it. Plus True Street if I'm not mistaken doesn't require NMRA membership to run and you end up with lots of local racers in it. Over on NMRA site the list was 90% Flordia racers for TS.

I would like to know of the Factory Stock cars how many are 2v modular? I know record for that motor in class is mid 11's.

The quickest pass in F/S was Tommy Godfrey's 11.072 pass and the top mph went to Steve Gifford in a mod motor @ 121.580. The 11.072 pass is with E7TE's and a Cobra intake.

Here's two vids from 2008. The first one is a n/a gt40 headed F/S entry and the second is a n/a E7TE headed F/S combo.

Justin always has a fast car. I do love how those guys are able to push those cars. I remember when that class was 13-14 sec now pushing 10's
