    Harley Davidson MSRP

I am looking to pick up an 09 street glide. I have been searching the posts on hdforums.com and have seen a lot of deals between $1000 to $2000 of of msrp lately because of the economy.

Has anyone dealt with and of the local dealerships and if so what are you seeing as far as discounts locally?

The closest I have seen around here just from looking on the site is Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg offering $2000 off msrp on touring bikes and 25% off accessories.

When I bought my Night Train (Z&M), they wouldn't move on MSRP, but then again, this country wasn't a mess then like it is now! Sounds like 1-2k off is pretty good to me, did you try http://www.highlandhd.com? My new bike will be a Street Glide for sure

    +1 on that.

Obviously I can't speak for every dealer but when I was looking at Buells after I sold my 6R, they wouldn't budge on MSRP. (not Z&M) They told me Harley won't discount on MSRP at the dealer level and that if I didn't want to buy it for that price, they didn't care and they would just sell it to someone else.

I heard he left, he was a good dude. Nothing really happened with the service department, they just werent very good to deal with. I turn wrenches every day, and with a warranty, I didn't want to and shouldn't have to fix my own bike!!!!!!

I was at Z&M about a month ago looking at the black ice blue ice SG. buddy took me there because he said he knows the owner and i will never get a better price anywhere. I was quoted the awsome deal of MSRP. I was talking directly with Jim and didnt really haggle with him because I wasnt ready to do anything at that moment. I understand that you are always going to get a high price up front but what made me laugh is my buddy telling me what a great deal it was on the way home.

That was the attitude for a long time, I remember when dudes waited a year for a bike!!! No they are mass produced and with the economy like it is, I don't know how much of a leg they have to stand on. I did hear late last year that they were cutting down on production though??????
