I detail, and I am amazing. Ive sold some bikes too, but thats not what I do....If im not busy and the girls out front are, I'll go help them...little bit of everything...the best part is test riding stuff for the mechanics.

is that so everyone can see your va-jay-jay?
Just a thought... have you considered anything other than a Harley? I know nothing about them except the horror stories about maintenance, but i'd think the Jap bikes have come out with something by now to rival the Harley in looks/sound??? maybe not?

Z&M or highland is your best bet......but i wanna know why everyone thinks there slow and underpowered? Ive rode pretty much every make of motorcycles and i mean tons of different models and harleys power is there.. i mean its not a 10,000rpm spinning machine like a ricerocket but that kinda bike isnt for everyone just for people wanting the 140+ mph harley will do 120-130 easy

i'm not saying that there's anything wrong with Harley's... just that i think a Jap bike would be much easier to get a good deal on...
I'm not a harley guy myself, but i realize its a niche... and to some people, there's just no replacement... kinda like anything out there that has a "name brand." I don't have a problem with them being slow - not everyone is out there likes to rip around with the kind of horsepower that a sportbike brings.... As long as you wear a helmet, i have no problem with any biker at all!

Do yourself a favor and call Highland HD in Somerset like Koval said dude. They are awesome, the only dealer I'll go to. Talk to Bob in sales he's a good guy. My buddy just got an 06 SG off highland for a killer deal. I ride down there for any and all service I need done to my Deuce.
Mike
I dunno what Highland told ya, but we ON AVERAGE, beat their prices by atleast $500. The only place they are relatively even competitive with us is on trades. I suggest you call them and see what they'll give you, then call z and m and see what they say, ask for Dax. We can beat their prices.

I love Z&M. Bought my bike there after going to many dealerships, and haven't had any problems with service. However I will say I was kicking around the idea of getting a Heritage softail & talked to them tues. and they weren't budgeing from MSRP. I think that's unrealistic at this point.
I actually bought both of my bikes at Z&M when Swing was there cause he's my buddy. It was always MSRP, no dealing on the bikes but he helped me out with accessories and other stuff and I wanted him to get the comission.
Dax is a good dude too though. Maybe they deal more now at Z&M IDK I bought my bikes in '04 and '07 so maybe things are different now. Highland sold my business partner a new '08 Ultra for less than Z&M was willing to.
Call 'em both dude and see who will give you the best deal...good old fashioned haggling FTW!
Mike
dont mention this to anyone at the dealership if you go. but ALL prices are going to go up 5% in early April. so if you want a bike. go soon. this is affecting every dealership, prices at every single dealer in the U.S. will go up 5%....just heard this today.

That ship sailed. I just bought a new seat for my nighttrain to make long rides more enjoyable and I'm going to be getting detachable saddlebags, so I'm just going to keep it. Good luck with the multi-bike deal. Me and a buddy of mine bought ours at the same time and didn't get any breaks!
