    stainless steel plates???

    Anyone know where I can find 1/8 stainless steel plates, I need some to make some brackets for my side skirts

    Go to Lowe's and get yourself some aluminum 1/8" x 2" flat stock. It will be way easier to bend into the desired shape and drill out.

    sand them and paint em????? thats what i would do. paint them black

    The pic he posted is of mine, and they are now painted like you said.

    Mike, the size you need is about 1" wide by 1/16" thick. You can also use aluminum if you can find it cheaper than the steel, use 1/8" thick if you get aluminum though.

    ID DOO WHAT BRIAN SAID! sand and paint them flat black and inside your skirts and undercoat the underneath of your car! lol... then put silicon everywhere else... and you got your show car!
