Awesome build so far. I'd love to do such a complete project someday. I've seen a couple guys on svtp with those Kumho 335's and they are HUGE, I might have missed it, but what wheels are you planning on?

Tenth anni deep dish, in gunmetal with polished lip. Gotta send the backs out to Weld Craft to go from 10'' to 12''

Feel like x-mas around here, with parts arriving daily, carpet....

    Halo's...

    Trunk lid..

I was able to get the paint supply to make me some vinyl single stage paint in this dark charcoal that we are going with for trim, sail panels, grill, headlight buckets, center of hood etc. Makes life alot easier than spraying color and flattened clear on all this small stuff. it looks incredible here is a pic of the sail panel

Wheels came, they are beautiful, BUT 9'' on the front with UPR K-member and coil overs won't work. The offset seems pretty good, but they will have to be narrowed. These OE wheels only come 9'' or 10''. The gunmetal is gonna tie in with the dark charcoal accent pieces.

The guy that is doing the buffing has agreed to do the tricky paint work for us, so we shot some test panels. He's gonna do the whole hood for us, since we are doing the flat center hood with the lx symbol showing through in body color, just like they did on Gt's back in the day.

I get the fun stuff, like all these little peices parts, but at least it's alot easier with this vinyl paint.

    Very nice.
On the front wheels, if you have to narrow them one of the 10s narrowed to 8" might be cool to keep a lip the same front and back. Just a thought, I like the wheel choice and those 335s will be sick.
I like how you're doing all the trim the same, will look very good.

Well it feels like we've been on bodywork for ten years, but now it is done and we are close to having the painting completed, got a new respect for people that do this for a living.

engine bay looks better with fenders on....

We're in charge of wet sanding and Phil does most of the buffing, although I'm getting the buffing thing down now as well..

It looks alot more like a car, got some of the moldings on and fitted up the back bumper cover and tail lights...

Got the moldings from NUTTSGT on The Corral out @ Norwalk last summer, lucky to find such nice straight ones for this year.

Thanks Tammy, we'll let ya know about State Street, thanks everyone.

Here is the latest update. Got the wheels back from widening and narrowing. Worked with a couple of local shops that we have done work with and for, and they agreed to help us out, this saved us the 4 week wait at Weldcraft and the pita of shipping both ways. The one has a bigazz lathe and they did the cutting and the other did the welding, came out great, got em painted and tomorrow we'll have en mounted and on the car.
