Thanks everyone. Thought you might like to see it at this stage, before we shoot the matte dk. charcoal accents. it actually looks pretty good just like this, but we are sticking to the plan. Keep in mind that this is not the final fitment for the front end as it is coming back off for the rest of paint.

With all that time and hard work I'd be scared of driving it anywhere. Looks incredible!

Ran into a snag with the matte finish clear paint. This is what we ended up with, yet the test panel sitting right besides this stuff was fine. Turns out the place we bought the paint sold us a product from PPG that had been recalled. Talked with the PPG rep and he said they had so much trouble with the product being unreliable that they pulled it and the place should not have sold it to us.

we are going to prep everything AGAIN, and shoot it with Dupont.

We're golden with Dupont. Took extra care to keep this part dust free and it worked, no wet sanding and buffing on the matte paint.

    Beautiful job Terry.
One quick question, are those the front tires you're gonna run? I think it'll look great with some matching fronts, maybe less sidewall?
Hope to see both cars soon, you and your wife are gonna have some bad@ss coupes!
