Thanks. Lucky for us the guy that painted trbofox has agreed to do the buffing, also gave us wet sanding lessons...

had to pull it out in the sun...

He made buffing look easy and the paint go to a whole new level

Started on the doors and found out that the glass in t-top doors is specific. Also I believe that the doors are vert doors as you can see the reinforcing which I will reinstall on our donor doors. Got the tops cut off and on to bodywork.

    Thanks for the encouragement.
Took delivery of the hood we decided on. originally julie wanted to do a stockish hood, which was gonna make it challenging for me with what i want for a motor combo. Julie found a thread over on foureyed pride of this new 84-86 Boss inc. hood, not a stock look, BUT... the most beautiful, sexy, and best quality hood we have ever seen. They come in this dark gray color which was awesome cause it is exactly the color that we are doing the center of the hood, the sail panels, foureyes, grill and rims, and it looks sweet with wild strawberry.

Gonna be tied up for a few days with this interesting little project...

Here is the replacement ride for the guy while we have the Shelby tied up, we got to test drive it,FUN.

Yes, p.m. me I can shoot you my cell#.

Well, the install of the Hellion went well, also he added guages, fuel pump, injectors, and SLP exhaust, so back to work.

Doesn't look like alot but, There's 3 days in the one door.

This front clip is worse than we thought,we might cave and get a replacement, as i think I located a reconditioned oem. We can always sell this one.

Well some more progress. i have been on doors for days and days, I hate bodywork. The driverside door ended up needing to cut the one hinge off and reweld 1/2'' different and now everything lines up.

After 10 hrs of sanding the front bumper cover we made the call, 12 calls to find a replacement. Glad we did cause this one is real nice, it's a reconditioned oem Ford from J&J bumpers in Rhode Island, they had 1 and it was the LX. No one is able to get the 83-84 all said it is no longer available, so we were lucky. This one is scuff and paint:)

Anyone on here ever repaired these plastic bumpers? i'm gonna have to repair the back one it is broke clear through.

We are getting closer to having everything ready to paint though.

Hope we last through it all to get it finished, been more work than we imagined.
Thats all for now folks, thanks for tuning in.

We got doors and fenders fitted and hanging, but not without the farmer method of fender alignment

It Worked, guess that fender wanted to sit back on it's old car.
Order arrived from UPR, that looks encouraging...

The car has been apart so long now, that with the airplane landing gear and all, we started to wonder if it was even a fox that we were working on. We took a little extra time to do this, it was well worth the effort, to see that there really was a fox body car in there somewhere.

Car looks great! Can't wait to see it all finished. I guess you will have to change her name, she's not rusty anymore.
