    Thanks.

My first attempt at applying wrap, didn't want to take any chances with the paint

Here is the solar rain powdercoat, he is real happy with it, we're going to do some more of his engine parts as well as rims.

man i just read through this entire thread, and I am speechless. I can't believe you turned that bucket into such a thing of beauty. I'm sure we'll be seeing this car in the mags soon enough. I can't even begin to say how impressed i am with your work. Great job.

After 3 days of sorting out some wiring gremlins, we are in, and off jackstands, fluids in, tranny arriving tomorrow and soon to fire.

    Pretty happy with the stance...

I didnt think I would be a fan of the powder coating, but I was sadly mistaken! That is the tightest looking engine bay I have ever seen, great work on the entire project!!!

Well, we have had our share of issues. Was in a wiring mess for a while until we figured out that the XPI timing lock box was faulty, took out all the senders, the TFi and the stator. Got that ironed out, really wanted to run that lock box as it has worked out well on the other car, but afraid to try another. the tranny is in

here is a link to the tranny we used, same as this one...

The car is running but the stock computer is hating the 60# injectors. puts into a flooded mode on start up, once the mass air kicks in the air/fuel is great. Got someone to burn me a chip for the start up, and it worked to start the car but at idle it makes the air/fuel go to crap. The tuner is going to try to modify the chip, dunno. We just wanted to be able to put a few easy miles on the new motor and make sure all the mechanicals and electrical is good before we get into tuning or getting some kind of a tuner. We were able to drive in and out of the garage, that seemed huge. the exhaust sounds amazing. Here are a few pics of it in natural light.

Here's a shot inside with flash, seems to destort the colors, I'm no good at photography

very impressed with how well the powdercoating is holding up, bolts and all, have been doing motorcycle parts, wheels, and misc. parts for people.
