Ok So I have SLP LM 1's and I am looking for a midpipe that will be off road. I live my SLP LM's but I have heard that with ANY midpipe they sounds like ASS. So It kinda scares me to do anyting that will detroy the sound I love. So does anyone have SLP LM 1's with a midpipe that sounds good and others like it too

The LM1's will sound ok with a catted x or h pipe but I have yet to hear a non-catted setup that doesn't sound terrible.

what area SLP catted xpipe?
I got Magnaflow Magnapacks with an off-road x-pipe. I think it sounds great. However, I got longtube headers. So, I don't know if Maganapacks just sound better than the SLPs or the longtubes smooth it out a bit. I'll try to find an old link on here with my setup.
No matter what you do with these modular motors, with an off-road midpipe they are going to sound like a 1975 clapped-out dump truck about 2,500-3,000 rpms.

i mean magnapacks and flow sound good but EVERYONE has them. they are to common. I wanted something not every stang has! But they do sound good i gotta say! the packs and flows! i would like to hear it!
A guy I know put a SLP off road X and loud mouth 1 cat back on his mach 1 and it was deafening loud, like in a BAD, BAD way. No tone at all, just volume.
get ready to get pulled over a lot, and buy ear plugs often if you do it, lol.
Ill see what i can come up with. Try to youtube it. I guarentee someone has made a video of that exhaust combination.

We are just finishing up a 2v that got parts front to back, top to bottom! This is the first and only car I have ever heard with an off road midpipe that didn't sound terrible with the slp's. The combo is BBK lt's, bbk off road h-pipe and the slp catback...

I dunno about scs, but he is over on svtp now. He posted a pic thread, and one of the first responses was "why is your hood scoop bent down in the middle?" lol. I always hated that hood scoop.
Pretty sure old punisher has a lifetime ban and i.p. address ban here, but I'm sure he'll find a way to get back on, lol.
