Go with a sct tuner. For the gears I had 3.73 and it was great for a daily. When it was a daily. My car redlines lower than your gt so I think you'll be fine with 4.10s! My dd now has 4.09s and I love it. 4.10 ftw! As for the driveshaft. I'm not sure you notice much of a difference but not sure. Never had one in a auto.

I'd vote for this also. I had 4.10's in my 98 cobra, but I was always tempted for a little more.

98 cobra was a completly different car when it comes to gears vs a 2valve. Even being an auto.

yeah i was kinda of leaning towards the 4.10's myself , which will be a nice jump in gear considering that it has the sock 3.27's and will i see any real increase in power with the new tune? my main reason for the tuner is so i can recalibrate the tranny for the gears so it doesn't burn out the valve body in the tranny . anybody know where any good deals on gears and tuners would be or is there anybody on here selling gears or tuners let me know

    thanks,

Jper had a Predator Diablo Tuner for sale in the classifieds. I'm not sure if he sold it or not yet.

Getting new gears will not burn out the valve body. Won't do anything but change the speedo

4.10 gear and SCT tuner if you must have a tuner.
