I stopped down Mike's today to catch up and take a few runs on the dyno. I wanted to adjust my 19# tune out a little, by adding one degree of timing (was at 18, now 19). Jon was nice enough to add timing and adjust a couple other things and emailed the tune back quickly. Run showed 580 hp 534 tq 19* timing on 102ish octane. Another note, nothing has changed on the car, even down to the same belt. Although, we noticed I could probably go down an inch or so in belt size. I know its only been 6 months since my previous dyno tune post (making 565 hp 534 tq). I figured we may as well get a base # to start with on his dyno. So when I go back to check things (say a year from now) I know were the power etc was at before. Summarizing it up, I'm very pleased. As said tweaking the tune a little, I gained 15 hp in the upper range. Car feels great. I honestly don't ever see a reason to take my car anywhere else. Mike is so meticulous with his work. I recommend his work highly. As for Jon, as most know he is a great tuner. I appreciate him helping on such short notice.
Little extra: On the way home I did run into a white c6 vette that wanted to race (had an exhaust at the very least) Well, I changed his mind about that pretty quick. He wouldn't even come up beside me after. What a shame.
Big thanks goes out to Mike @ Wolfpack and Jon Lund!
