    ?'s on used shocks/struts

I found a set of bilstein shocks/struts on another forum, waiting to hear how many miles on them, just wondering if these go bad quickly, or if there is anything to look for, Ive always heard good things about bilstein, but not sure about buying used shocks/ struts

    EDIT: they have 4000 miles

    thanks, Mike

ive heard they are awesome!! how much did you find them for?? i have kyb agx adjustable. i love that i can adjust them to handle or to drag. i acutally have the right rear set alittle stiffer than the left because every time i shift/launch hard the tires rub and makes all kinds of racket lol. i would suggest adjustable just for reasons like that. bilstein and kyb are both great brands. i think i paid 400? for mine

thats not a bad price for 4k miles. i would go the extra 100 and get adjustable IMO

they look like they have more then 4k miles. hech 4k is only time for one oil change. why are they forsale so early with only 4k miles? also see if theres any info on him racing/drag'in the car they were on. see if you can see what kinda abuse they got on them.

just a few things i would look into b4 buying.

if you afford it, i'd spring for the adjustable ones. i always went with adj, unless you arent gonna be doing any major racing or fast curvy roads. its all in what you want and want to do with your car. my .02
