Small update, we gutted the drivers side door yesterday, removed the crash bar since the car will have a full cage. That bar has to weigh 15 - 20 LBS. We are going to media blast the doors, re pin the hinges, weld up the holes, and get them in primer till its ready for paint. Those crash bars are a pita to get out.

Hey Lou, once you drill the spot welds on the crash bars and they can be moved around in there, i have cut them in half slowly with a wiz wheel to make the removal a ton easier... just an fyi for your next rodeo..

Just got back from the long treck out to Team Z. The car is coming along nicely, the mini tubs are almost done, the cage is all mocked up except for the swing outs, the cracked floor pan section has been cut out and replaced, through the floor subs are complete, and the torque boxes are all stitched up. Should be finished up in 2-3 weeks. He still has to narrow the rear, fab up the adjustable seat brackets, build the trunk floor with fuel cell installed.
