    clutch questions

Well we got the transimission out...now i have decided to replace the clutch since the transimissions out already. The car still has the stock clutch in it.

Does anyone have any advice on which one is best....i probably won't be do any major mods to the car anytime soon so i need something that is streetable but that will take the power my car is making.

    any suggestion?????

I have a ram hdx holds I think 550? It is a awesome daily clutch. More than stock less than spec stage 3 and no chatter!!! Specs love to chatter.

I had a spec stage 3+ .... tons of holding power (850ftlbs) for any future mods you WILL do when you change your mind .... and was a great feeling clutch too... no chatter at all on mine...

that wouldnt be a good option for him... the 550 tq rating is a flywheel number... he's already at 538 to the wheels... i think he'd eat that clutch in a heartbeat

If you look at the Spec 3+, its one solid disk, as opposed to 6 different and seperated pucks... I think this is a big reason why it didn't chatter for me

I was looking at this one on the lethal performance website. Sounds like this is what i need....although The stage 3+ would be a good choice too if i decide to upgrade in the future.

I had ram powergrip HD's in my cobra, unless you switch to a steel flywheel, it will most definitly chatter with the stock aluminum flywheel. Once i switched to steel, chatter was 90% gone

I have centerforce DF currently. I did have the ram HD in my car before. Held up fine., and was still in decent condition when it came out. The DF in there now is holding the Kenne Bell for now. I'm already looking at a replacement and im thinking Spec 3+ this time around. The Ram HD clutch is a very good clutch though.
