Torco race fuel accelerator= Holy Grail

Almost ever vendor I have called goes to voice mail the only person that answered was a rep from the company itself. No one has returned my calls I'm about to say F it.

If it's this hard to source I don't know if I want it

No they are open in phoenix. I finally found some from a company that's selling out then stopping. 85 before shipping for the six pack of 32 Oz cans good deal. Only took 3-4 hours of calling lol.

I was on torco's website and it will let you order from there, but it is $119.99 for the 6 pack. I ordered this stuff last year and know i paid right around $90 for the 6 pack, but can't find my receipt or remember where i ordered it from. Mind letting us know where you found it for $85?

Yep, tried that. When you go to order it's says it's out of stock. I did find it here http://need4speedpower.com/torco.html for $95 for the 6 pack. Ad says in stock as of 12/02/08. It did let me order it so we will see if they email back that it is out of stock or not. I also found that it is listed on amazon.com but says they are out of stock and don't if or when it will be back in stock.

I got for it at 85 at insingerfuels.com 99.99 after shipping it's a company in Dushore PA. I always spend a lot of time shopping put on the average I get pretty good deals or I couldn't afford this hobby.

The lady says when they're gone they're done. I have already told 1 other person. I feel like a junky who just gave up the location of their stash lol. I told everyone on other forums I was keeping it secert lol.

seriously though its a shame its gone. Everyone I know who's used it sings its praises. I just found mixing xylene with gas easier when I wanted to run my 100 octane tune and 100 octane wasn't available

    That's not same thing.

Torco is a race fuel concentrate not just an octane booster.

Toluene can be used as an octane booster in gasoline fuels used in internal combustion engines. Toluene at 86% by volume fueled all the turbo Formula 1 teams in the 1980s, first pioneered by the Honda team. The remaining 14% was a "filler" of n-heptane, to reduce the octane to meet Formula 1 fuel restrictions. Toluene at 100% can be used as a fuel for both two-stroke and four-stroke engines; however, due to the density of the fuel and other factors, the fuel does not vaporize easily unless preheated to 70 degrees celsius (Honda accomplished this in their Formula 1 cars by routing the fuel lines through the muffler system to heat the fuel). Toluene also poses similar problems as alcohol fuels, as it eats through standard rubber fuel lines and has no lubricating properties as standard gasoline does, which can break down fuel pumps and cause upper cylinder bore wear.

I'm just afraid if your tune is aggressive enough to need it to be safe that if it malfunctioned it would pre detonate bad enough to break something. Plus I have heard of them staying on sometimes?

Agreed about using it to run high octane mode using water injection and pump gas.

As for high octane mode staying on, if it did then its a bug in the knock sensor algo. I've always been kicked out of high octane mode if there was too much knock. There have been a few times where I didn't empty the tank out enough before putting some 100 octane in and it was a really hot day and kept getting kicked out under high load.

Then again, the last I bothered with forums related to the SRT was early 2007, so maybe there have been cases since then. Something tells me that someone did something stupid to their car and blamed it on "being stuck in HOM" more than anything, IMO.
