7 horsepower or 700 horsepower, It dosen't matter if you can't hook it up.

    Remember, speed is a preception.

Hehe I like this one I'll throw the smokers into the mix. Goes along with the point your making though.

please dude... just because some of you guys live your life by the next time you can make it to the track, doesn't mean that's how the rest of the world has to judge how "fast" a car is... I put a whopping 2000 miles on my car last year (the only summer i had it after the build), because I just didn't have time to drive it around... life just got too busy and complicated... same goes for the R1... i'd much rather be on it than in any car, and it only got 2200 miles, 95% of which were riding it to and from work... so you can shove that bullshit up your ass..... some of us have careers that just don't give us much free time for the first couple years.... you guys just always come up with that excuse because you're too afraid to admit that anything other than a trailer-queen foxbody can be quick.... it is possible to build a vehicle with the intention of smoking something on the street that may do the same to you on the track... two different ways of looking at "fast"

the only news i've heard is that the car trapped 106 in the 1/8th, first time ever to the track... that's all the new owner told me when he texted me 2 weeks ago... but i can't take credit for that... nor did i EVER say it was the fastest thing out there... but if you ask me, that's not too slow... with some seat time, it should get better ... there's plenty of guys on here that can vouch for my car, including one with a 8second eclipse... but i understand, ppl are bitches just because my car wasn't a ford, despite the fact that a Ford is what i now own

and just an FYI for the comment above - on a summer day, i could hook all 700hp in 1st gear...

I didn't like the new Camaro until I saw it on the street. It looks a lot better in the real world environment for some reason. My neighbor is a brand manager for GM so he always has cars at his house before they're out. Actually, he was following me in it for a little while when we were heading through my town. It has definitely grown on me.
