94-98 Cobra caliper to 10th anni. caliper problem

Ok, long story short, I had a front brake caliper go bad on me so I bought a new pair. I went with the red powdercoated 10th Anniversary calipers. I went to bolt them up tonight and the stock banjo bolt that attaches the brake line to the caliper does not thread in, and neither does the one that came with my new stainless lines. The calipers did not come with new bolts, only rubber plugs in the holes.

My question is: are the bolts different from a 94-98 cobra caliper and those found in an 03 10th Anni? If so, where can I get the bolts a.s.a.p.?? I need this car back together and rolling by April, and still have to get it aligned first.

Any help is appreciated, and if anybody can point me where I can get the bolts, I'd appreciate it.

Not sure if this helps Dan but the lines were side specific on both my '01 and '04 Cobras---driver and passenger lines are different---made me scratch my head for a while when I installed SS lines.

Yes, mine are side specific too, the driver's side is bigger. I'm talking about the bolt that attaches to the caliper though.

hm, I guess I will have to take the caliper with me to Napa tomorrow and see if they have a bolt for an 03. If not, I'll bite the bullet and go to Ford and wait a freakin week since they'll probably have to order it.:biting:

So I called around to every parts place in the area, and nobody has them, so I had to order them through Shults Ford. They had to order them, so I won't have them till Tuesday or Wednesday, ugh. At least they're coming I guess, lol.

Rob, you are correct, the parts person said the ford part lists the same bolt for all 99-04 stangs, regardless of cobra or not. Can anybody confirm that the cobras use the same bolt as the gt's?
