Cams installed idling....mostly

Played with my new video recorder JVC Everio GZ-MS120, can use dual SDHC flash memory. Uses Dolby sound for audio. Got it for use at track mostly since my Kodak camera takes awesome HD vid but horrible tinny sound. Use AVS Video Converter 6 to change format and compress.

Adjusted cams to 113.5 centerline today. Exhaust is Pypes stainless longtubes, MAC offroad H with Catco round cats and MAC 2.5" catback and some 3.5" tips I welded onto tailpipes. I do have a Pypes offroad H I will mess with at track in few weeks. Just awaiting tune from Modular Depot, told them to be as aggressive as they want with tune. Sent them cam specs to get injectors right. So car does hunt for idle sometimes. Othertimes it will idle fine. Idle set at 760 currently.

I have never used them, how long have you had them? how many miles have you put on them? have they ever came loose? do they seem accurate? sorry man jsut picking your brain, I have been wanting to try a set and your input will relax my brain, thanks

I've only been using them for a week now. The screws are not going to back out if you use the Loctite that's included(some thick green stuff, wasn't numbered) With 6 screws(2 non magnetic on outer edge, 4 closer to center) they seemed to hold tight. The outer screws use a 4mm hex/allen and the 4 inner use 3mm but got 1/8" to fit tighter and those will round out before you can over tighten.

Personally to me the more screws holding the better I feel. Some companies only use 4 closer to center. Cloyes sets I think only use 2 and I heard of those not even being able to tighten down fully and few people wiping out some valve when it moved. I'm not sure if those were redesigned or not. Fidenza I have seen pics of thiers with 4 screws and some with 6 so I have no idea and didn't even look at them further.
