    4.10's in the auto for a daily and 4.30's for a track whore. I had 4.10's in my 01 gt auto and daily drove it for 3 years. Also I could still hit around 130 in 3rd with the 4.10's so top speed really isn't an issue.
    wow great info man! thanks alot!

    and I don't have 150 at the time lol sorry! but thanks!

    Honestly 4.30's wouldn't lower the top end too dramatically over the 4.10's but I still think thats a little steep for a daily driver with the auto. 5 spd I would say go for it.

    here's a link to a calculator. It uses a 5-speed, but your AOD is a 1:1 Ratio in 3rd gear (not OD).

    you can play around with it, but looks to me like 3.90's will put you at 120mph at 6,125 RPM.

    hope this helps.

    edit: I see you're not concerned about the 3rd gear at 1:1.

    I don't know what the OD factor is on an auto, but you can plug in different numbers for the 5th gear on that calculator.

    Even with a 4.56 at a .80 OD, you'd be 120mph at 5,7xx rpm.

    I'd say you'll be fine with 4.30s.

    enter your ratio, enter the speed, then hit "calculate"

    down below, it gives you the RPM for each gear at that speed.

    The ratios for the 4R70W are:
    1st = 2.84
    2nd = 1.55
    3rd = 1
    4th = .70
    Hope that helps a bit

    alright, got my car back. has good punch off the line with the 87oct tune, and great punch off the line on the 93oct tune (sct X3) cruises at 2600rpm @70mph. still hits 110mph in 3rd gear, same as with the 3.27 gears which i thought was kinda wierd
