She would enjoy the fact that YOU like it... because there is going to be something somewhere that she like and you could care less, but you'll go just because she likes it...

i bought her pretty much the lx... and i think its a better ride then my 03 cobra... but b4 carlisle im planning on spending about 2k on it and i want her to drive it as much as she can. ive asked her to pick out a hood... but she likes the ram air on the lx... i like a cobra cowl or simple 2 inch cowl. she has shot my ar 15 and xd 45 and couple other firearms and somewhat enjoyed it... she prob went threw 50 rounds. but cars... shes not really understandn that this is another hobbie.... i love fishing and she has tried to get into that too! but cars... not so much... and i have a english bull terrier and love teaching her new shit.... well... she gets these thoughts that i love my dog more then her... how could i? .... shes my best friends and my lover... :boy does this sound like this should be on dr. phil..: lol

but about a year ago she wanted to buy me a termi when she graduated from her phsician asistant program... so theres something there i guess.. i still dont know... and i know sex with a car brings burns lol hahaha jp! but i dunno... plus shes very shy!!!!! if i bring her out with us guys or gals... hug the hell out of her! lol make her feel welcome... help a brother out!

I agree with the other guys. If she's not totally into cars and/or understanding of why you like cars and cruising, then she's not the one for you.

Right now, if she's being left at home and you're out cruising, then yeah, she's gonna get pissed.. but if she would try it and like it.. then you're golden.

Just be willing to make that decision when the time comes....

there are single girls out there who do like cars ;)

and believe it or not, it's not any easier for us girls to find a guy into cars

Cruisin is so fun for us cause it's two things we love: bullshitting around and cars LOL. I wouldn't expect girls to find it that entertaining so I have some sympathy for them I guess.

I wouldn't get bent out of shape if I were you, we have been out and about a hell of a lot lately it seems, and that probably makes her feel left out of your life. If my gf wasn't in Ohio I guarantee I wouldn't be out as much as I am now, or if I was I'd be leavin a little early or something. Gotta pick and choose your battles my man!

From past relationships I've been in, if she wants to be with you she'll try to understand the car thing.....I hated fishing and went all the time with my ex. I didn't mind it cause I was spending time with him.

Try including her in some of your "car business". She has to understand that you need "boy nights" just like us girls need "girl nights". Why do you think I hang with Danny

Seriously though if she really likes ya and wants to be with ya she'll find a way to deal with the car thing!

It'll never work if you listen to some of the folks on here telling you to put her in her place - and tell her to get used to it or get out... unless you don't give a shit about her, in which turn, that's perfect! :D

If you really care for the girl, the two of you are going to have to meet in the middle... You need to make a decision - is this chick worth giving up some of your "hobby time" to be with? If so, then that's exactly what you need to do. I'm not saying give up your cars, etc, etc... but honestly, when it comes down to it, if she is the girl you really want to be with, you won't look at it as "giving up" a hobby... its taking some time from a hobby to make time for something else you love... She does, however, need to understand that you have other hobbies, and that you need to spend some time doing those things in order to keep your sanity!!

Like I said - you guys have to meet in the middle... My girlfriend hates that i take my dirtbike out on the weekends - I was out on Sunday from 9am til 5pm... but when i got home, we went out to dinner and watched some tv... I got what i wanted - she got what she wanted - we're both content

You need to ask yourself, is she worth it?? If you've been out both Friday and Saturday with ur friends, do you say on Sunday "ahhhh damn guys... this blows... i gotta go home and spend time with the woman" or "nahh, i'll pass... i think i'm just gonna chill at home today" ?

Wow my head hurts from reading all of that. I admit I never had a fight/misunderstanding with an ex-girlfriend about cars. My last one's dad was a car nut and she now has a job setting up for the big car shows all around the US. Now the one problem I did have is when I went to pickup my Cobra and the bank said "NO!!!". I have never missed a payment on anything and I had to dig around to see why or what happened. Thank god the relationship was still long distance or I would have killed her when I found out what she did. It turns out she put my name on a credit card and then decided she wasn’t going to tell me about it. Hey I am a nice guy, I was already paying for her other card! She just decided not to tell me about this one because she forgot. I guess she forgot to make payments on it too.

Long story short...She is gone and I have my car. I think she has called me twice in the last two years and the last time I flat out asked her why she was calling me. I never got a good answer!
I am still looking for girl that understands me and will let me just be me. I was told I would find "the one" when I wasn’t expecting it. We will see!

My only recommendation is "communication". Just talk to her and let her know how you feel.
