Struts- Strange adj vs Lakewood 70-30

I'm in need of new front struts for my 88 EFI 302 Fox notch. This is a converted 4 cyl car with Eibach springs all around. It seems to sit at a fairly normal ride height. I've kind of narrowed it down to the Lakewood 70-30 (# 40501), but I also see the Strange 10 way adjustable (Summit S6001EM) for $13 more each. The Strange application says for V-8 only. But Lakewood makes no reference to engine being 4 or 8 cyl. Is this having to do with additional engine weight, or is this another issue that I need to know about before buying either one?

If it helps I should add that the car does have 5 lug wheels all around with rear discs.

Car sees maybe 1500 local miles a year during nice weather on the street. It's not a track car at the moment, but a little more traction would help. I purchased the car this way so I'm not familiar with what changes were made specifically to accomodate the 302 transplant.
