McCrackin Ford Closing???

Anyone else heard anything about this? I heard from a friend that they sold their franchise back to Ford and their property to Walmart.

that was the rumor 6 months ago.... supposidly now the kid has taken over and has the weight on his shoulders....... at least shults rt8 is gone now

that was the word i got last night while having a discussion w/ a bunch of people.... the old man wanted to get rid of it all and be done and supposidly he stepped up and didnt want to see everyone out on their butts, dont know if money changed hands or what but this is just what i've heard...

Car Salesman are scum and should be out on their butts. I'd feel bad for the mechanics though.

From what I understand Timmy's been running the show for a long time. Robert's still involved and pulls the high up strings, but Tim is the go to guy and the voice and face of the dealership. And Shult's on Rt8 is gone? I didn't hear about that one.

Like the dust in the wind....FORD shut them down and supposidly looking to close 3 more in the metro area so maybe mccrackin should have sold instead of risking being shut down

Ford didn't shut down the route 8 store, Shultz did it on thier own. And yes there will be 3 less metro Ford dealers in the area soon.

same as i heard, except that 3 techs went to wexford and 3 were laid off

hear one of the dealers is ramsey sturman or sturmin larken(whatever it is called now) out near century 3

rumors of maccrackin i think are untrue
