Yeah, I hear you on the good deal thing. Can't tell you how many parts I have laying around in that category. I was looking at a Street Fighter 347 Kit and was suprised how cheap you can get them.

I like your plan, thats mine too.
I was rereading your combo (very very nice btw) and you should have no problem hitting 700rwhp minimum at 15#.
NA you should be about 500hp give or take 30hp depending on the cam and rpm---15psi will roughly double that, so do the math and you'll be happy.
My car follows the math pretty well.

J, Thanks for the compliment bud!
I plan to make around 420-430 rwhp N/A and throwing 15lbs. of boost at that should easily get me into the 700's
My cam is a TLSR that has a 6800 shift point and 7000 through the traps.
Duration @ .050" Intake 236.61 Exhaust 254.49

I can't wait to get out & see your car run in person. Be sure to post up anytime your going to run it anywhere in the tri-state area so that if i'm free I can come see that badboy!
Hey Rob - I just saw this thread (shows you how often I'm on here, haha)...this is one MEAN combo you're building!! Make sure you let me know when you take it to the track the first time, I can't wait to see what it will do.
We put one of those quicktime bell's on the chevelle and had great luck with it...especially compared to the POS lakewood that we took off. I checked the alignment on the quicktime and it was like 3.5 thousandths off...well within spec...needed no adjustment or offset dowel pins. On top of that, it's a good bit lighter weight than the lakewood while being just as strong. Great fit and finish - great product, IMO.
I'll be curious to see how your T5 holds up - gforce or not, I know how you launch (and shift), HAHAHA.
Good luck - very impressive. Keep me in the loop!

Engine is now in the car!
Still working on all the small details and need to order a few small needed parts.
The Quicktime Bellhousing and Mac headers fit great, much to my suprise!
I thought for sure I would be notching the bell and denting the headers, etc...
Everything went in nice and smooth!
Looks good Robert...

Thanks Troy! Its not running but i did manage to get the tranny in today......lol Im still a good ways off from firing it up as i still need to order some fuel rail fittings, and a few tiny other parts. My problem is I rarely have time to work on it as i spend the little bit of free time i do have with the kids. Should have it fired up pretty soon though. I want to put some break in miles on the engine and clutch before i thrash on it at the dyno.
Dyno's are good for break-in
My clutch first turned the wheels on the dyno drum and I think the dyno would be a good place to break-in the engine too.
Good luck getting the little things done, those can be the most frustrating sometimes.
Looking forward to seeing the results.
