It seems to be a great piece, very nice quality! I did alot of research on SFI Bellhousings before making the purchase and the Quicktime is by far rated the highest in quality, fitment, light weight, and pretty much everything including price.....

Once I have it installed i'll report back my findings.

Ya give it a real good look over before you install it.

My second one I was happy with....but not the first one they sent me. They took care of me and I would order from them again.

Please drop me a PM of what issues you had.
    Thanks!

I got my fuel rails installed after some slight fabbing to get them to fit perfect.

I found where you can get fuel rail stock so you could custom make your own rails. I may be selling my vortech ones and going this route. Looking good though none the less.

I considered doing this also but the injector hole placement has to be perfect or they wont work. They are also angled to a certain degree also, so doing this would take lots of R&D unless you had a pair to mimic.

Each side is totally different placement from the opposite side too so this would be a tedious task.

Exactly. Which is why I will use my Vortech rails as a template before I sell them.

Was just reading back through this thread and noticed the stroker combination used. Are you components a CHP Street Fighter Kit? Why didn't you go with a forged crank and H-beam rods?

Ed, I got the entire rotating assembly in a trade for some old parts i had laying around the garage. I have next to nothing in the entire assembly.

Then I had the hookup on the Mexican block $ all of the machine work and assembly of the shortblock.

To say this is a budget build would be a total understatement. This bottom end cost me about 1/3 of what 99% of people would have paid retail.

I will be pushing the limits of the crank as well as the block but the rods are perfectly fine for what i'm doing. The way I look at it is if it breaks then it breaks........:)

I think it will hold up just fine for what i'm doing with it......street car that maybe see's between 500-1000 miles a year and hopefully 8-10 track outings a year with a max of 3-4 passes each trip.....
