here's one of my toys. it's an 01 rm250 with a 265 kit with cylinder porting. I picked up a sponser this year who is gonna help me out. he specializes in 2 stroke porting, so the motor is getting sent out for more extensive porting and case matching. i also have a 87 warrior and 2 little 50cc dirtbikes(pocketbikes) for the kids were looking to replace the 50's with a 60 or 65 so he can start racing, and my other son wants a quad.

How'd you blow up a 300 katoom? Did you overrev the sh1t out of it or what?

actually i think i ran it a little too lean (oil mixture wise) - long story... was messin around with a few things... not 100% sure that's teh reason, b/c i haven't taken the head off yet to find out what is blown up... The bike just suddenly started running like poop - bogging real bad... i was only like 2 miles from home, so i rode it hom... shut it off, tried to kick it again, and after 2 kicks, the kicker was jammed... well, i tore the pipe off, and there is a huge chunk of something on top of the piston... dunno if its a part of the piston itself or not...

... definitely no need to overrev that dang thing... has 100X more bottom end/ mid-range than the '98 RM250 i had...
