    Running on Mass air

Yep, the title is right, FINALLY downloaded the binary file, and turned the key. Car fired right up and idled perfect.

Little bit of idle, little exhaust, little rev ;)

Video of my Innovate data digital dash. Dial are RPM / WB02 / MAF / and TPS

And a short verison with one good rpm climb

I'm so freaking happy right now. I said the car wasnt coming out of the garage unless it was running on mass air. I still have a few things to do, but real fast here it will be ready to drive.

We will see how much tuning this BIN needs, but I should have a "kit" soon. Just make sure you have 3" tube on the throttle body side :D

So far, so good. It's run a total of 10 minutes on the blow through set-up and those where all in the garage. I've got a pile of little stuff to do yet, but hope to be "street" tuning it sometime next week / weekend then looking to do power tuning after Easter.

    Studded slicks??

Got at this a good bit tonight. Have the EEC forced into open loop and tuning the target AFR. It's not as clean as I would have liked, but fixed the little hitch (lean) at 3,000 rpm and it idles like a champ now. Looks pretty clean up to 2 volts on the MAF, just need to refine that, and get ready to tune from there up. Car is about out of gas ;) NO VAM in front of the turbo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: I have been driving the car on the blow through mass air and it's running pretty good. I am still tuning the MAF transfer. On the plus side, my last data log had some boost creep and got up to 25 psi (Boost creep isnt good, but the resulting data is ;) ). At that point, it was flowing 45#'s/minute at 3.6 volts. If you do a direct conversion, 45#'s minute is 450 HP worth of air. Still lots of headroom in the MAF transfer and turbo, but that's it for my injectors. I need to get the boost under control.

Big debate in my mind right now..... 75's, 85's or jump right to 96's. 75's will be enough to window the block but the others are the same price :D

Will run the gas that's in it out and going for race gas to finish the tuning.

Yeah, it's close now. Going to need 75's for sure, but can work with whats here for now. The issue now is boost creep (bad). Need to port the snot out of the WG hole.

Well the porting of the WG hole was a success. 1st pulls tonight it went right to 17 psi and held to redline. Turned the boost controller up a little and it went to 20 and held the redline in third :D for now, i'm going to finish the MAF tuning at 20 psi and go from there when I get bigger injectors in it.

I've got an oil leak to fix on front crank seal and it might be ready to shake down at the track this weekend. 1st attempt at fixing the leak was a failure, so lets hope for better luck tomorrow.

This thing is really starting to run strong :D
