Where to go to have an auto trans worked on - work truck

I've got a '93 silverado that is in great shape/low miles/southern truck...but might need some tranny work in the near future. I only use it for work around the house/hauling stuff randomly - an extra useful vehicle, basically. This is non-performance type work obviously. Can anyone recommend a good, honest shop that will not charge ridiculous prices? It's a 4L60E tranny. I'm in the north hills, but work in greensburg/delmont...really, I'll drive anywhere in the pgh area for a good shop...or maybe one of you guys knows someone who does this type of work on the side for cash? Thanks guys!!

Any AAmco transmissions. I've had nothing but luck from them. At Firestone we don't do transmissions. We send them all to Aamco

That would be World Class Transmission. My Cutlass has been repaired there, blew the sprag out a couple years ago. NovaPRP, his brother, and parents are sponsored by WCT.

I deal with Army transmission in homestead and they do excellent work for reasonable price. We have had some of our racing transmissions done at Stan's transmission and they do good work too.
