An alternative to a scooter for city commuting.

I was looking at this as an option to try and import into the states when gas was crazy expensive, but here its at/over 90 cents a liter (about $2.80 USD/gallon) so its back into consideration just to spite the oil companies:

    2009 Honda CBR125R
    Specifications
    Engine Type Liquid-cooled single-cylinder
    Displacement 125 cc
    Bore & Stroke 58 mm x 47.2 mm
    Compression Ratio 11:1
Valve Train Chain-driven SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder
    Fuel Delivery PGM-FI fuel injection
    Transmission Six-speed
    Final Drive O-ring-sealed chain
Front Suspension 31mm telescopic fork; 109 mm (4.3 in.) travel
Rear Suspension Single shock; 120 mm (4.7 in.) travel
    Tires 80/90 - 17 front; 100/80 - 17 rear
Brakes Front 276 mm disc with dual-piston caliper; rear 220 mm disc with single-piston caliper
Seat Height 780 mm (30.7 in.)
    Wheelbase 1,294 mm (50.9 in.)
Curb Weight 127 kg (280 lb) including required fluids and full tank of gas - ready to ride
    Fuel Capacity 10 litres
Colour Firestorm Red, Blackbird Silver, Exclusive Edition - HRC available only at Honda Powerhouse dealers

    MSRP: $3,499 CAD

This would be perfect for city streets or heading to the corner store for stuff. 90% of my driving is on roads with a speed limit of 90 or less and at such a cheap price, some performance mods available, fuel injection, and a range of 300km it seems like a no brainer.

Who woulda thought a 125 could look so good.
