Not everyone needs a Colt upper. My chrome lined SBR shoots great. Its a Doublestar upper. Only took 3months to get when everyone was buying everything. I think things have died down a bit now. Its still about $300 cheaper than any other complete name brand AR. That'il buy ya case of ammo

Things have slowed a bit but parts are still hard to get and at a premium. See you waited 3 months for a double star, before the election you could find anything at reasonable prices.

I agree and it's all for what you intend to do with it. Yes, buy plenty of ammo cause that is even in more of a demand right now than guns.
