Intercooler finally showed up and ordered new tires.

The intercooler showed up today and looks good for the most part but there was a little cosmetic damage. I don't have time to send it back I'm just going to except it.

I also ordered some new MT 315/35/17's DR's and some Sumitomo 255/45/17's for the front.

I have had the MT's before in this size with the newer thread pattern and absolutely loved them. I had to settle for BFG's DR's in same size last time because the MT's were on back order. They had half the traction, wore out quicker, and preformed worse in the rain.

The newer thread pattern is a step up from the old design as far every day driving and preforms just as well at the track as the older pattern.

I love these tires but they are not cheap for a tire I have to replace almost every year.

    MT 315/35/17 DR's

These tires are good in the 275 and down just don't get the 315's the gaps are huge. The reason I like them is that they're only 67 a peice lol.

Wow, that IC looks huge. How do those mickey's hold on the street? Do you have traction in 1st gear with them? I've got the 275's right now and they're awesome. I can nail it from a 1st gear roll and they flat out hook. Just wondering if the 315's would hold if I ever stepped up to some more power.

Awesome!!! gotta love the MT's!!! On a warm day, I could hook all 700rwhp on a 245/55/16 tire...

As for the Sumitomo's, I had those on the front as well - they're a fine tire, but i'll warn you, they're ugly... they just don't have that good looking sidewall that a lot of tires have now-a-days!

Well if your running a 17" they should do a little better than the 275.

Yeah these are my second set of sumi's they're fine in a 275 and down but stay away from the 315's the only thing they do is increase the tire gaps. Right now I have 245 sumi's in the front. I bought some 315's when I first bought the wheels and the gaps were huge so I sold them a week later lol.

The mt's I had before the bfg's wore a lot better and handled better in the wet and the dry than the BFG's. First time I used them I ran a 1.67 60'. But that was the newer thread pattern.

look at the gap on these 315 sumitomos lol.
