Is a backhalf Ranger cool here?

Well, it's SBF powered, so maybe? I'll give the rundown and let you'se decide.

Small bore 362" 8.2 deck stroker
    12.3ish compression
    Super Vic OOTB
Pro Systems carbie for E85 (Holley HP950 main body)
    TEA TFS TW-R heads - 206cc
    T&D shafts
Custom solid roller from Camshaft Innovations .757"/.727", 253*/268*

    TKO600 OOTB
    Advanced Clutches sintered iron slipper

This junk would be done if I hadn't been laid off in Dec, but waaah, waaah, no one cares. Need finish machine work on the engine, finish the 4 link, cage, paint & wiring & it's ready to go.

So, there you go, trying to get this junk to <10.5 ETs, all motor, we'll see what happens.

Welcome. What does that junk weigh? 10.50's should be quite easy for your mods unless it weighs 2 ton.

This is a 100% brand new build, chassis, engine, everything, so I'm shooting for 3000#. It's a gutted, no frills, rice killer.

Not too much to look at pics wise, unless you like to see new parts in boxes.

Last raced 250B & Collegeboy, District 5 & CRA (in OH) in 2006, been my s/n since Al Gore invented these tubes way back when, so I keep it. Started racing minis in 95?, but a couple real bad crashes & a wedding got me out of it, but to be honest, I've got that itch again.

    You twist the throttle?

Welcome man! I've read a lot of your posts over on a couple of the ranger forums back when I was thinking about putting a supercharger on my old ranger. Glad you made it over here.

welcome, i dont see any problems with your combo going 10.50s!! Thats a pretty big dome for a stroker motor, you may want to recalculate the C/R..IMO Looks like awesome stuff though..

Well, when designing this engine, I knew I was going to use a custom piston and I could have made the compression with the dome or cutting the heads (or both). Piston price is the same either way, but it would have been additional machining to cut the heads, so I opted for the "easier" route at this time. The R head is a default 61cc chamber from TEA, for whatever reason.
