why do i see springs advertised 79-04 and others 94-04, 79-93?
i know of people running bullitt springs on their fox, whats the deal here?

A lot of the springs out there (especially H&R) are designed with specific spring rates for certain cars based on a few factors, with weight being one of them.
One other thing I know is that the fox body cars' shocks and struts are 1" shorter in length than the 94-04 ones, this may indicate that the springs may be a different length, but I'm not totally sure on this.
I would guess the ones that are listed specifically for a certain platform have been designed more precisely to that chassis.
Thats what i figured was weight, its just weird the way some manufactures break it up for springs
