    Air bubble in my coolant?

    how do burp my coolant I have an air bubble because for some reason my coolant was completely emptyso I filled it and it starts overheating then goes down and then will overheat again after a bit then back down.

    i'm not sure if there's a specific way for your car, but on my fox i just fill it with coolant, leave the cap off, start the car, turn the heater controls on high on defrost or vent... just let the car warm up and wait for the thermostat to open up and start cycling coolant... be sure to watch your temp, and continue to add coolant until you don't see any more air, and the level stays steady..

    i work at firestone and you wouldnt believe how many people have coolant issues
